EPSとは？（一言で）
EPS（イーピーエス）とは、
会社の利益を1株あたりに換算した数字です。
日本語では「1株あたり利益」と呼ばれます。
小学生でもわかる説明
会社が1年間で100万円の利益を出しました。
そして、その会社の株が1000株あるとします。
100万円 ÷ 1000株 ＝ 1株あたり1000円の利益
つまり株を1株持っている人は、
「1000円分の利益を生み出した会社の一部を持っている」
ということになります。
これがEPSです。
計算式
EPS＝当期純利益÷発行済株式数
例：
- 当期純利益：5億円
- 発行済株式数：500万株
5億 ÷ 500万 ＝ EPS100円
EPSが高いとどうなる？
EPSが高い会社は
- 利益を多く稼いでいる
- 企業の収益力が高い
- 成長企業の可能性
投資家から評価されやすくなります。
EPSが低いとどうなる？
- 利益が少ない
- 成長が鈍化している可能性
- 赤字に近い
株価が上がりにくい傾向があります。
投資でどう使う？
EPSは単体で見るより
PERとセットで使う指標です。
PERは
株価 ÷ EPS
で計算されます。
つまりEPSが増えれば、
株価が同じでもPERは下がります。
これは「割安化」を意味します。
EPSが伸びる会社は強い
投資で重要なのは
「EPSが毎年増えているか」です。
理由：
株価は長期的に
EPSの成長に連動する
傾向があるからです。
いわゆる「成長株投資」の基本になります。
よくある誤解
❌ 株価が高い会社は優良企業
→ そうとは限りません
株価ではなく
EPSの伸びを見る方が重要です。
